HAJJ APPLICATION FOR UMRAH LICENSE
The
National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) hereby invites reputable and
competent Travels & Tour Operators/Companies to apply for Umrah
License/Renewal.
1. CONDITIONS
OF APPLICATION:
a) Evidence of
Incorporation/Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), with a
minimum share
capital of N30,000,000.00
b) Submission
of CAC form CO 2 and CO 7
c) Evidence of
current registration with IATA;
d) Company
current Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three (3)
years;
e) VAT
Registration and Evidence of remittances in the last three (3)
years;
f)
Evidence of partnership with Saudi Licensed
Establishment
g)
Curriculum-Vitae of individual management and technical staff,
including qualification, individual experience in handling Umrah
assignments;
h) Submission
of an Audited account.
i)
A sworn affidavit that none of the Directors of the Company have
been convicted in any country for any criminal offence including fraud or
financial impropriety;
j)
A sworn affidavit indicating that all documents submitted are
genuine and verifiable; and
k) Scanned
copies of a, b, c, d, e and f above is required not photocopies, certify
copies of g & h and original copies of I & j and also all Original
documents must be made available for sighting.
2. MODE OF
APPLICATION:
a) Application
Form should be collected at NAHCON Head Office upon payment of
non-refundable fee of =N=200,000.00 (Two Hundred Thousand Naira) only for
new Applicants, or the sum of =N=100,000.00 (One Hundred Thousand Naira
Only) for renewal;
b) upon
fulfillment of the required conditions for the grant of the license a fee
of N300,000.00 shall be paid by the applicant
company
3. SUBMISSION
OF APPLICATION
a) All
applications together with the prescribed fees shall be submitted to the
Secretary, National Hajj Commission of Nigeria, No. 1 First Avenue, Off
Ahmadu Bello Way, Central Business District, Sokoto House,
Abuja.
4. All
applicants to note that;
i.
Process
of issuing or renewing of licenses is a continuous
process
ii.
The
validity of any license is for twelve calendar months from the date of
issuance; and
iii.
Applications for renewal of license
should reach the Commission not later than three months before the expiry
date of a current licencse
